Cape Rose Cottage is
centrally located and convenient for exploring the many magnificent sights that Cape Town
has to offer. Close by are the stunning beaches of Camps Bay, Clifton and Llandudno, and
the major tourist attractions of the V&A Waterfront, Robben Island, Table Mountain and
Kirstenbosch Gardens. The fishing village of Hout Bay and spectacular Chapmans Peak
drive are a short distance away.
A 40 minute drive over Chapmans Peak takes you to the False Bay resorts and the
popular fishing village of Kalk Bay and its selection of antique, art and craft shops.
Close by is the naval port of Simonstown and the famous and unique Boulders Beach with its
Jack Ass Penguins. Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope National Park is one of the
Capes major tourist attractions and is popularly perceived as being the meeting
point of the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans although geographically the Indian Ocean joins
the Atlantic Ocean at Cape Agulhas.
The magnificent Wineland regions of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek are only a 40
minute drive away and a day spent in the country sampling the different wines and lunching
at one of the excellent restaurants is simply a day not to be missed. |
